Nothing we do is more important than prayer, and time on our knees will bear more fruit in our children’s lives than any other activity we engage in. Prayer is powerful and the sooner we learn to harness its incredible power correctly, the better. It’s the best investment we can make in anyone’s life, especially in our children’s.
God instructs us to Ask, Seek, and Knock. Ask and keep on asking, seek and keep on seeking, knock and keep on knocking. He isn’t bothered by our continued coming to Him. He is still in the business of answering our prayers. We encourage you to pray for your children. Ask the Holy Spirit what to pray for specifically if you’re not sure and He will show you. Nothing is too small or too big to pray about.

Kate’s closing prayer:
“Lord, I come to you in the name of Jesus. My heartfelt cry is that You would teach us how to pray. Your Word says if we lack wisdom to ask You for it and You’ll give it liberally and without reproach. Give us divine wisdom in prayer.
Show us what to pray and teach us how to pray. Put a big dream in our hearts for our children. Teach us how to pray your Word. Remind us to be specific and consistent in our prayer time and begin to show us what long term prayers we should be praying for our children.
Thank you for the prayers You’ve already answered and for the answers yet to come. Help us to have patience as we wait for your perfect timing. Thank you, Father.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Wonderful podcast. You mentioned a sheet of prayers already written out as a resource. Where is this located? Also what is the name of the book that’s out of print (maybe there’s a chance to find it used?) Thanks in advance!
We have created a set of 30 prayer cards for moms to help them pray Scripture over their children. They will be available for purchase soon. The name of the book that was mentioned is A Mother’s Prayers for Her Children by Nancy Yaeger.
How will we know when those prayer cards are ready? I look forward to seeing those!
We will be making an announcement about them soon. Stay tuned!
Thanks so much ladies for the encouragement ? you really are such a blessing for other moms. May the Lord keep you safe and give you the wisdom to raise your kids and keep sharing his word and gospel throughout this ministry. (Ojalá estuviera en español, wish it was in Spanish ?)
Thank you so much for listening!
