Women make up half of the US workforce. Seventy percent of women in America with children under 18 work outside the home and 75% of them work full time. 40% of those are the sole breadwinner in the family. Whether you’re in the home or outside of it, raising children is work.
The key is finding balance…and balance is one of those words that sometimes seems impossible to attain but for every mom, it’s important to find…or at least try to! How do we juggle a job or career, marriage, and children without feeling like a clown at the circus, dropping the balls we’re trying to keep in the air? How do we deal with the stress of family pressures, keep a healthy marriage, maintain friendships, and take care of ourselves so we don’t burn out? Is it easy? No. But it’s definitely possible!
“Sometimes we have to reevaluate when the plan doesn’t yield the fruit that we were hoping for.”
